Guys that's running 6010 how timing y'all running and what plug y'all running. I have tr5 in for now. But there the wrong ones for carb

Haven't hooked the laptop up to it yet been to busy...but I looked at the paper work for it the other day it saids use non- resistor plug. I can't fine any

wish i could help. i'll be playing with the 6010/6012 tuning here soon. can't wait! from what i've READ (not experienced) guys just tend to set the idle timing in to where it idles best, then ramps it anywyere from 29-36* of timing by 1800-2000 rpm. simple enough! some trucks will idle best with 20* others will idle better with 30*. just give the motor what it wants.

as for the starting range i also think you want to play with it depending on the combo. start at really low timing and ramp it to your idle rpm/timing. LS1tech has a carb section with some good stickies. phantom is a good source too

I have to get a better carbon for it then I play with it more that volley piece of **** have isn't cutting it...thinking bout the eldebrock 800 what y'all think?

If you're calling a holley a POS and going to fix it with an eldebrock, I would suggest you do lots more reading.

Calling the one I have a pos....the two I been looking at is 750 chokeless dp or 800 eldebroke. Here in Georgia whether anit to bad
