I guess in one way I am. Guess I keep seeing it from the other side, since it has been sitting apart for so long.

If I can get the old motor out, get the frame and firewall painted, and get the new engine in, I will be able to finish it up as I have time here at the house. Hoping to get that done next week.

Still no progress. I did score a 454 radiator and brackets for FREE, though. Appears to be new at that.

Thanks, weather looked to produce rain today, so I didn't do anything. Tomorrow, I hope to get out and get something done.

OK, thought I would share for other people. My truck has the stainless flex fuel lines. After playing around with different adapters for the lines, I came up with this.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLY-12-803BP/
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EAR-916166ERL/ x2
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EAR-9894DBHERL/
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EAR-9894DBJERL/

My regulator came with a fuel line adapter for the feed to the carb. Hope this helps someone in the future.

I will also be running a pressure gauge between the regulator and the carb.

With this, I don't have to modify the factory lines. It is somewhat bulky, but I think I can mount it on the firewall out of the way.

Well, my buddies trailer broke yesterday. So he showed up at my house with a couple guys and an engine hoist. An easy hour later, i have an engine free truck to start cleaning up finally.

This is what the fuel line adapters look like on the regulator

Here is an update, moved the truck out to be picked up on a roll back in the morning. It is going to a body shop to have the frame straightened.

The truck is taking a change of direction. Looks like it will need to be not only my hotrod but also my daily. I am now planning a LS motor and T56. I want to get the frame straight before I start making any changes to anything.

The frame has been starightened. I have sold the mild 350 I had built, now just need to sell the stock NV3500. My buddy is going on a weeks vacation and closed his salvage yard during that time. Once he get back I will be buying a 03 Lq4 complete with everything down the wiring harness.

There is a 04 GTO up for auction the first of the year. If he wins I will be getting the T56 from it. If not, I might start hunting for a 2wd 4L80E.

I have been looking for a garage to rent for a month or 2 so I can get the frame painted and set this thing all together.

Hoping to have this thing all back together end of Febuary.
