I have been doing some research. I am going to make a few changes.

First since this will be my daily, I will be keeping front and rear bumpers, so I will be hunting some nice chrome bumpers.

The truck will get a factory color repaint. Possibly the taillights painted similar to the smoked effect, except color matched so they blend in a bit more.

Most likely, the truck getting a 6 lug setup from a lights duty 3/4 ton. This will be a cheaper alternative to the 454SS rear axle, and it comes will larger brakes at all 4 corners. I will also be able to get a hydroboost setup from 3/4 ton and keep the lines from the 03 truck.

Rather then go with ralleys, I will get some late model aluminum wheels of some fashion to run on the truck.

More changes might come, but for now I think I am getting a solid plan put together for a comfy and dependable daily driver.

Well do to recent events, looks like this will be my next project to hit the fan. I have a friend coming up to purchase the truck from me next week like it sits.

I am going tomorrow night to look at a 94 K2500 Suburban with a 454. Life goes on.

Unfortunately, when you have a family owned and operated business, it happens when you least expect it. Things basically went to the crapper. Really stinks cause I was looking forward to the build. Life goes on though. Maybe next year!
