Well my dad just gave me his 93 silverado with a 5.7l 350, truck has about 120,000 miles on it. What would you guys do with this with a budget of around $10,000. This truck will not be a daily driver.

 

Build it only for track

 

i want it to be a mean street truck that i take to the track and out on the streets every once in a while

 

The basics....LSX swap, turbo, 80e, true trac....things like that

 

for 10K, you might be able to sneak boost into that budget, but I think the money would be better spent on suspension. A beefy LSx with 4 bar setup in the back would be pretty sick.

 

Budget BBC build with a turbo or big shot of nitrous, TH400 or 80E, rear axle of your choice. Then put the money leftover in the fuel system, exhaust, suspension, and tires. Good luck not blowing your budget, lol.
