Default few questions

I got a 6.0 to go into my truck and the harness and all. I however have a 700r4 in my truck, but dont know what to do as far as keeping it.

I also was wondering about disc brakes for the rear end. How is that done?

Also if I changed from chevy to a gmc or gmc to a chevy grill do I have to change the core support?

from what I heard the 700r4 wont last behind a 6.0l, you may need a 4l80e or seriously rebuild the 700r4.....my rear disc is a wilwood kit, not sure if there's one available for your year of truck tho...I would think the grills would interchange, they have for years....
