We know about all of the 99+ trucks. Who else has a classic to show off? Here's my old turd. SBC, 700R4, 8.8 rear with 3.73 gears. cammed, longtubes, Sniper EFI. Slow LOL
Beautiful truck OP! I don't have a classic now, but I did however use to have a '84 K30 and a '87 K10. The K30 was bad ***. Single cab, long bed. 14" lift on 40x18 Mickey Thompson baja's. I was stationed in Yuma, Az at the time and that truck would go everywhere in the dunes. 350, Holley intake and carb, electric fuel pump, dual feed tanks still worked. Long tube headers to true duals, 4.88 gears front and rear, th400 with a small FTI (I think it was) converter. This was back in 2009ish time frame.
Thanks. It was previously my little sister's truck. I've done minimal work to it. It's nice to buy a running driving cruiser and not a project to focus on for 2 years. I do need to figure out a better fan setup before it gets hot in Texas and the alternator works, but seems weak and needs some RPM to get it excited.
I changed the subject to include cars as well. I like them all. The white one and the black one are both mine and I guess are considered classic, or very close to being classics. I graduated highschool in 2002 and these were the coolest cars in the parking lot at that time. I always said that I would have one someday. My sister-in-law purchased the white one new back in 2001 as a 2002 model.
and most have seen my 69. It has been sitting for a few years and needs some attention pretty bad.
No... not the Mustang That's the BIL's, the Jeep is mine. 1997 is a classic right? Its my other toy/project just for putting around the beach and getting dirty. I have plans for an LS swap once this little 4-banger gives up the ghost or I run out of other projects. Neither of which are likely any time soon.
