Default carburetorated l31 build up help

i have a l31 with .010 ground off the crank, forged flat top pistons and a comp xe270 cam, petronix hei distributor, rpm performer intake and a holly 750 carb 2500 tc. i have this setup in a 1983 chevy caprice and the car has no power. is this a good cam for such a heavy car. any suggestions on a cam? also it has the 906 heads and not the 062. any suggestions on some other heads?

First off, sounds like a 750 is a little too much carb for that engine... something in the 650 range would probably be a little better. Also, you probably heard that the 906's do not flow as well as the 062's, but from what i have heard is that it is a very miniscule difference in flow and its easy to fix.
