Default brainstorming

i am thinking about selling my s-10 blazer i was going to build into a drag vehicle and all of the parts i have for it and building my 52 chevy truck instead. if i do it i will be putting it on an s-10 frame for the better brakes and ride quality, i will also put a 5.3 and 4l60e in it for reliability and gas mileage. doing all of the work doesnt bother me, having to fab body, bed and bumper mounts does. i know there is a kit specifically for this swap but it is $1k but im trying to do this on a budget.

has anyone here done this frame swap before? how difficult was it? any tips/pointers? can anyone help me with bracket measurements?

i have found these websites to help so far
