Default 97 rcsb NEED HELP!!!!

I HAVE A 97 RCSB it had a v6 in it sold it guy came and pulled the motor and trans i told him not to cut the harness but they hacked it to hell like nothing left computer is still thier i wanna put a 5.3 in it but i dont know anything about the wiring on it i bought a 85 camaro to drive but im a truck guy i can get 2400 for my car help me can i do a swap for 2400 if i carb a 5.3 help plzzzz i really wanna keep the truck im not a car guy

That's no good... you can do a ls swap on a budget, even keep it efi, just do your home work. Where are you located?

im in texas near dallas yeah it made me angry i just miss my truck and would rather drive my truck

Best advice I could give, would be to go to one of your local pick a part junk yard and pull out a complete harness from a 97 like yours. When you get your LSX set up get harness ecm fuse block exhaust every thing you can. The more you get from the junk yard the easier your swap can go. OR sell me your rust free southern truck

dont worry about the wiring. you can do an ls swap for under 2400. have you bought a motor? when you buy a motor get everything, a complete cutout so you wont be searching for parts later and spend more. if the motor you buy is dbw make sure to get the gas pedal and tac module. about the wiring dont sweat it give nelson performance a call they can build you a new harness or rework your harness that came with the motor for not that much. its worth it save lots of headaches. your probaly gonna spend more by going carb, ide stay EFI.
