Default 65 c-10 nv3500 swap

i was wondering if anyone had any tips on converting a nv3500 from hydralic to mechanicle? i just picked up a nv3500 out of a 96 silverado with a 4.3. i had a 700r4 in it till i lost 3rd getting on the freeway. the truck origanally had a muncie in it and the pivot ***** r still on for the mechanicle clutch linkage. im running a 350 boered 60 over with a 284h cam and camel hump heads. i heard it is pretty involved putting a hydralic clutch system in so i want to avoid if i can. hopefully this trans can hold up. any sugestoins or advice would be greatly appreciated
