6.0 or ls1?

Default 6.0 or ls1?

I have and 88 c1500 that needs a new motor becuase the original 350 in it is tired. I was looking at two options. Either a 6.0 with a blower or and ls1 with a rear mount turbo. Let me know you opinions.

ls1 is usually more expensive and both motors are awesome. i say whichever great deal you run across first wins. im runnin a LS1 only because i got it dirt cheap. i would run a lq4 or lq9 (both 6.0's) anyday.

So ive decided to go with the 6.0. Should i go lq4 or lq9? Im bolting up a built th400 trans. Possible blower or turbo.

blown application? go with a LQ4, with forced induction you don't need the higher compression LQ9, which would usually cost more anyway.... much easier to find a LQ4 also (normally)

Would you go with a LQ4(or LQ9) over an LS2 when you're thinking about giggle gas or huffer in the future? I just want to get in the low 12's with a 4800lbs truck.
