Default 3.42 to ???

So I've got a pretty stock 2wd extended cab 92 c1500. 350 tbi built 700r4 with shift kit and 2400 stall, stock 3.42s and a Spartan locker. I found a guy with a set of 3.73 with install kit for 100 bucks. Thinking about getting it but not sure if ill notice a difference on performance.. I wanted 4.10s but this seems like a pretty good deal. I won't be running at the track much, but its not a daily driver or anything either so gas mileage isn't a huge concern.. I plan on doing flat top pistons,Vortec heads, cam, and carb converison in the future, if that makes a difference.

So are the 3.73 worth it? Or wait to get the 4.10s?

Wait for 3.90s or 4.10s the 3.73 will be barely noticeable.
