I'm going to be off from 0920-0923 and I'm hoping to get my blazer finished up that weekend. I was wondering if there would be anyone free to help out.
All i really have left is to put the cross member in. bolt up the tq converter, and finish bolting the engine down.
then your basic stuff. radiator, fans, carb.
things been down for a few years and i've always been too busy, had bad weather, or no help. Would really like to have it going before winter. Those street tires do absolutely no good on snow, and with 100 miles a day i'd just rather drive the blazer on those days.
The poor thing.

which reminds me... Tyler, I just realized i still have your oil pump primer. I need to get it back to you.
I guess i've had it a while, if you already got a new one just let me know what you paid for it and i'll buy this one from you at that price.
Sorry

I worked on it a lil last night and fixing to go out there in a minute to do some more. I'm mainly going to need help with getting the carb on and setting the timing. Outside of that I should be able to get most of it.
Edit: Brother isn't a lot of help. He wasn't strong enough to lift the xfer case up for me while it was bolted to the tranny and motor. So i had to do the lifting and let him put the bolts in. had a muscle in my back try to freak out on me but managed to get some stuff done. anyway. i'm headin out there and gonna make sure i've got the motor mounts tight and tighten the headers up and what not.

Got everything done underneath today sept for the trans lines. got the headers bolted up. just need to tighten a couple more motor mount bolts, put the carb on, and start getting the radiator put back in. also need to take the fans off the condenser and put them on the radiator since I'm not worried bout a/c on it.
after it gets running i gotta find someone who'll put a wiring harness in it. every time you turn on the headlights the dash shuts down. I've had the new harness for a long time but been waiting on getting it running again to have it put in.
Also might do an axle swap down the road. we've got a late 80's cherokee with solid front axle.
