Unless you exclusively run nitrous I wouldnt run a pro yank. They are extremely tight and take a lot of power to work properly. Based on numbers you posted you arent close to the range needed to get it working right.

Id give circle D a shot at the converter. They are very familiar with truck converters and given its local they can restall it easily if its off. But Chris got my 3400 triple disk pretty good.

Ok bud , first of all you can make an HD fast and fun , more than one way to do it

One of my fav trucks of all time I rode in was a 2002 ECSB 2500hd , LQ4 with a small comp cam , shift kit and 2800-3000 PI vigilante triple disc , and a tune .
This truck ran hard and was fun , but had normal manners untill it was floored ,
A much milder version of yours but cool to discuss none the less .

I wouldn't run too loose of a converter unless you plan on race only . I m thinking you want a fun street truck that runs hard at the strip too , right ?

Anything can be made faster , and just cuz your starting with a heavy platform doesn't mean it can't be modded and molded into a surprisingly fast vehicle that will surprize a lot of cars at the light

I went with the Triple Disk Pro Truck converter because the guys @ Yank convinced me that with the shot of 200 Nos on occasion and the fact I might need to pull a trailer every now and then it would hold up the best. I guess when people referred to a converter as "Tight" I thought it meant lower stall 2500-2800 range... Guess I got that wrong?

Yes this is the biggest misconception about choosing a converter. Stall speed is not the same as tightness/looseness of the converter.

With a blower my yank 2800 is pretty loose... But I make a shitload of power down low.

I hope you went with at least the 3200. I have more of less the same exact cam. If I was still NA with thoughts of nitrous that's the stall i'd get.
