Weight differences between RCLB, ECSB, and ECLB?
#1
Hey guys, I'm looking at a 2004-2006 GMC 2500HD with a 6.0L and automatic. Does anyone know what the weight differences are between a RCLB, ECSB, and ECLB are assuming the trucks are similarly equiped?

I don't have a lot of info but I will offer you what I know.
I took my rclb and made it a rcsb. I dropped around 400 lbs or less. I went from leafs to a 4 link but they weighed about the same.
I am guessing cab configuration is going to have a slightly bigger effect.
From what I know I would guess rclb vs. ecsb is only going to be 2-3 hundred pounds. And the extended cab, long bed vs. short bed is again going to be in the area of 400 lbs or less.

Thanks guys, and any idea the weight differences between an ECSB 1500 vs an ECSB 2500 assuming the 1500 is the 5.3/auto/4x4 and the 2500 is 6.0/auto/4x4?
Also, how much of that would be in 4L65 vs 4L80? I ask that because for what I'm looking to do, I'd have to swap a 4L80 into the 1500...
