I like the Dueler but problem is they melt pretty quick. Especialy if your truck is heavy. You say you have been hauling wheight for work. I would not reccomend the Dueler. They ride well and have good traction but they just don't last as long as other tires I have seen. I like the Hankook RF10.

They look good but they are a Good Year. If you are lucky they are just that good for ONE year. Good Year is the worst tire out there. I would take china scrap over Good Year. They separate after fairly short amounts of time. They don't grip for **** on wet roads especially after they have 10-15 thousand miles on them.

Do what you want but when guys come in and want GYs I do my best to steer them away to a much better tire!
If you want to spend your money wisely get just about any tire talked about in this thread before the GY.

I've got a set of Toyo's Open Country MTs. They've been great so far. They're 286/75/16

You got 286s!?!? you have some custom molds? Just kidding thought I would give you some ****. Those tires are nice looking but I haven't seen them run so I have nothing bad to say. Good price, sound like they perform! Makes a good tire in my mind. especially in a 286 since you have a mm on every other guy out there.

alright jackass ! ! ! . . . . yeah 285s. They're great in the rain. They're way better than the 33s Mud kings that I had years ago on my 92 chevy that I had in high school

But now if I'm pulling the boat, and in a heavy down pour . . . that's a different story. If it's a normal to somewhat heavy storm, I haven't had any issues with driving faster than normal with wet roads.

There's 10K on them now . . . and they still look new. I've rotated and balanced them every 5K

Hmmm, I have almost 40k in just under 2 years on my Good year Wrangler Silent armor, and i haven't had a single issue with them, 285/75R16 they are pretty damn worn right now, but I attribute that to the supercharger and the 5spd. They only Load Range D, and each tire has multiple plugs in it(I work in construction) and last week I took em down the highway for 25 miles with 4500lbs in the bed, nothing blew apart.

I just must be lucky I guess

i have cooper discoverer ATR? they have about 45kmiles on them and believe me they still have 50% life in them.... i havent seen a tire last that long in a long time... they are super quiet and ride good in the rain.... but they only make the "E" in a 275/16, they dont it a 285/16 in "E" only "D"..... definately would recommend them to anyone....

tires are also rotated every 5kmiles...
