Default Over sized injectors

So heres my question has any body personally tried oversized injectors in a LB7 or had a buddy try it. Because I'm thinking about putting 40% over sized then putting in a FASS fuel system in

You could put 96lb/hr injectors in your truck if you wanted. Just make sure the injectors are high impedence 9or have a converter box) and that the tuner gets the scaling correct in the pcm.

Hes got a diesel, . You can go a LONG way with just a tunner on that truck before you need to do over sized injectors.

yeah true but see the reason why i wanna go to oversized injectors is because i think I'm having injector issues and i know the 24V cummins when they first came out they had injector issues so what they did to compensate was install over sized injectors i was going to try and do the same to the duramax see if it made my problem go away

Oops my bad. Diesels can go quite awhile power wise on the stock injectors. Are you planning on big power upgrade in the future? Otherwise theres nothing wrong with the newer Duramax injectors (imo).

The LB7 injectors have a very long warranty on them if yours are going out, might want to check on that.

The 2003 LB7 injectors had a recall i believe and the cutoff for replacement is 200,000 mi. Check with GM before u order aftermarket oversized ones, that would be pricey.

Yea, last I heard it was over $1000 for new injectors out of warranty. I dont think its a full-fledged recall, but GM did extend the warranty to 200k miles like you said.
