Angry Need ideas quick on fuel problem.

I was wondering if anybody else has ever had problems fueling up there trucks? Its an 04 hd with 6.0 , when I start pumping fuel it keeps kickin the the handle off. 3 diff stations. Any suggestion would be great . Plannin on a lot of engine work next weekend but need this fixed first.

happend on my 06 under warranty they told me it was the vent valve solenoid.

Didn't know the vent had a solenoid, but now after doin some checking that sounds like my problem. Geuss ill try it . I here they are kinda pricey. Thanks

no prob on my on 6.0 but the 8.1 in the suburban will only take fuel with the nozzel half way out and on the low setting, anything fast it clicks off... it only takes like 9 hours to fill up 40 gallon tank with the nozzel on slow...

my old truck did that to me cause i had a slip tank in at one point and the collar i put on the hose running to the tank was to small and restricted the flow

Problems fixed found vent valve through Rockauto for 28 bucks shipped.

Awesome, I worked with a guy he had a truck giving him an issue we replaced everything under wARRANTY to find out some jackass shoved a gas receipt down the filler neck and was stuck in the ping pong ball valve in the filler neck. Nice eh!
