Default need help on building 8.1 liter

Hi i have a 2003 gmc 2500 with a 8.1. it is lifted an has 36 inch tires. I am looking to do some stuff to the motor to make a good amount of hp an tq, around 500 to 600. I am looking for some advice on some good headers, i would like to have long tubed an stainless steel. Thanks

turbos. mine makes 640 rwhp and 680 rwtq

depending on your budget is hp you can attain

stock intake limits flywheel hp to 500 NA

Once I went turbo, the thought of N/A seams silly. The torque that can be made with a turbo is far superior to N/A.

yep,

turbo, i went supercharged wasnt impressed, sold all that and went tubro.. just be ready for gas mileage so bad it melts you visa, last time i figured it up it was 5.4 mpg..


Tierod is running a bigger turbo, and works well, i went with a smaller turbo to reduce on kill lag. the motor is so big it will spool anything you bolt to it for the most part.
