damn shitty luck man i seem to have weird luck as well my 03 duramax was wrecked and rebuilt twice before i got my hands on it with 122K for miles and worst problems i've blown 2 tires on the high way. but my old truck was a 03 1500HD and i could hardly afford to keep that think on the road the only thing i didn't change minus interior and body was the trans and it was dieing when i traded it off but when i bought it was mint and cost me around $40,000 in repairs in 2 years

Right now I just want to set this piece of **** on fire, and push it off a cliff.
Damn dude, sounds like its time to "wreck" it in the next snow storm. You can buy a whole used motor for 3K...

Haven't been able to find a complete LBZ with under 100K for less than 4500. If it accidently cought fire, or rolled off a cliff it wouldn't count as points on my driving record lol. I have been pretty lucky with my trucks so far, but I guess my luck ran out on this one. Most LBZ's are flawless trucks but this injector pump failur is not an uncommon problem with the LBZ's, and LMM's The factory has a service bulletin on about it you can view over on the diesel place.

I think I located a complete 14K engine for 4500, and have another lead on a 77K Cp3 and injectors for 800.00 Trying to decide which way to go.

I don't want to scare anybody out of buying a high mile Dmax because they are usually trouble free reliable trucks, but if by chance things go bad out of warranty the 2~3K you saved can cost you back and then some.
