Well, the 20 foot 7,000 pound crew cab on it, or the 23 foot 9,000 pound backhoe, or my John Deere tractor would not quite fit on that lawnmower trailer I picked up down at Home Depot. (Just giving ya a hard time here. )

I think that is the first time I have ever been asked by truck guys why it was so big rather than why did you get a short trailer? I would rather have one that I can keep for just about whatever I want to throw on it instead of overloading a smaller trailer. Bigger trailers offer better stability, more safety margin and actually back up much easier than a shorter one.

I started out with an 18 foot car hauler and figured I would never outgrow it but boy was I wrong.......

You can see here where the car hauler really struggled with the hoe. It was tough loading that puppy to get the proper tongue weight for a good tow.

I am glad I don't have to worry about that anymore.
