my best time bone stock with my AVY 2500 with 8.1 bone stock at 230 HP and 350 LBS of torque at the wheels is 1/8 mile 10.06. with all the mods done I am shootin for a low 14 sec run in the 1/4 but I am waiting to get the truck on the dyno to finish tuning it.

 

Best to date is 13.43@99mph and a 1.81 60'

Considering picking up some Raylar stuff this winter and start flirting in the 12's.....nothing set in stone yet though.

TieRod has me beat by a whole second with his old Raylar setup and 200 shot.

 

I hoping to be the fastest here in a month, but i am cheating slightly with a lighter truck

 

Hey!.............Howd did I get dragged into this.

 

 

I built a 2006 2500 hd 4x4 8.1 using raylar Heads, Intake , Diamond pistons , Manley Rods , SW long tubes , Custom 4 inch Rear mount turbo BW S480 on 10 psi , fuel system , Meth , ATS Ally , 4:10's ... Dynos 800hp 800tq to the wheels on our mustang dyno ... Went to the track using ats five disc stall for a duramax 500rpm tighter then stock [I guess they didn't here me that i was building a GAS 8.1 ] ... The truck wouldn't make boost till the 330 mark ... Still went mid 12's @ 117-119 mph ... Now with new Vig stall 2800 5 disc with turbo stator [ Leaves at 3-5 psi on foot brake ] I would guess mid 11's ... Track is still closed ... Oh FYI 60ft 2.5 LOL

 

we all know its not mine. my 8.1L sububran went 18.0 @ 76 stock... but im 4K feet above sea level.. I think with the blower it will go high 15's... i just need to loose some weight this 8,000lb + sucks.
