Angry Duramax lb7 coolant leak driving me insane

Long story short yesterday my heater core quick disconnect broke off as I was pulling into work, ended up bypassing the q-connect and running a new hose with clamps to take up the difference. Today I noticed coolant on the opposite side and now a puddle on the drivers side. I've tried tracing the path and there's no luck. I don't know if it was from when it bursted it puked coolant everywhere and irs running off or if it's a new leak. There's no smell of coolant whatsoever and no leaks while it's running. There's a few drips of coolant on the oil filter itself and the firewall was pretty soaked. I've had this truck for about a month so please excuse my lack of knowledge on these diesels lol

Thanks in advance

I would check the water pump. They will leak just enough to make the area wet or leave a small puddle on the ground.
