Too much truck for him... I wish to own a dmax someday. Or swap a dmax engine into my Tahoe.

I got lucky with my find. I don't really need the 4wd, this truck will only ever really tow my Camaro around... kinda over kill really. But I just LOVE duallys. 98k miles, paid 21k at North Texas Truck Stop

Bought 1-7-2010

then added the bumper 1.5 weeks ago

to be honest the only thing overkill about that truck is the bumper. you'll enjoy having a dually esp. if you're going to be hauling a two axle trailer or more.
I don't have much to add at this point but we have two DMAX's and they rock. One is an 06 3500 single cab, and the other is an 07 classic 2500HD.

im going to be picking up an lmm 08-09 ltz 2500 hd really soon , they are just hard as heck to find ( at least with all the b/s options i fancy)

black or charcoal grey lifted up on 38-40's with a stock *** motor to keep the warranty. on the new stuff they can pretty much tell if you have done anything . only possible way is to have a 2nd pcm .

Yeah, I am kinda feelin trading mine in a year or two on a Dmax, but on the other hand, I might want to enjoy no truck payment for a while too. I don't know. I guess I'll just have to see how much the truck pisses me off when the time comes.

When we bought the 2003 Silverado I wanted a diesel but the wife said they cost more, where loud and smelly!
I said the difference will be more then made up in a couple of years! Now she agrees we should have bought the diesel!
We just towed cross country to the Winternationals and I do love my truck but the mountains separate the real trucks from the others!!
I logged delivered torque on 6.0 L and at 2000-2200 rpms the motor is making 220 Ft lbs, a new turbo diesel will be 2-3 times that amount of torque!
