Default diesel in my oil

i changed the oil on my truck and it was so thined out that it looked like coca cola...lol... It had the smell of diesel in it.. Whats wrong or need to be replaced????

What year is it? What tuner are you running? How many miles on the truck and that oil change?

uwwwww.....lb7 strikes again. injectors most likely. 8 year 200k warranty take it to a dealer if its still under that warranty. I am medium duty, and I think it is the same as light duty.

yes sir, I wish I had a nickle for every set I have put in over the last 8 years. I would have a **** load of nickles lol.

its an 02 duramax. I bought it at an auction awhile back.. It has 138XXX miles on it.. Was this a recall or do i have to be the origninal owner to be able to have this fixed under warrenty

Recall, take it in, tell em whats up and a day or two later youll have brand new injectors.

called my local dealership with my vin and they say it shows no recall or any type of warrenty on my truck. That it was over at 100k??? Is this right????

When was the last oil change.. A lil hint of fuel smell isn't nothing to get worried over, it happens...

its a special policy not a recall, you have to let them look at it first. they should know, but if they do not have a diesel tech, then you may have to take it elsewhere.
