Nope, no BS on my part, My buddy has an 05 ecsb 4wd with the dmax/allison, and from fillup to fillup, at the same gas pump, figuring from miles traveled to gallons used, he got something like 21.2... Granted he has a light foot, and alot of it is highway, but still. By the way his truck has 285/75-16's, superchips programmer, and AFE cai. Other than that, completely stock...

I'm seeing 11-14 in town, and 14-16 on the highway, per the DIC. I've never hand calculated it, I guess I should. Pretty sucky numbers if you ask me...
But then, my truck has a big fat *** on it.

how many mils on your truck, mine never increased until 5 or 6000 miles and seemed to go up a little more between 8 and 9000 miles ,20 + is very possible but 65 mph is about cut off for that

mine is not a dually, that probably hurts it some, did a trip from powell to casper and back , run 65 to 68 got a honest 18.6 ,had about 7500 miles at time,my truck is probably broke in pretty good ,tow about 75 % OF THE TIME WITH a 10000 to 12000 # trailer depending on how many horses we take to the mountains and we run pretty hard, it is 18 miles to the top mostly 8 to 10 % grade. best i do is 20 but you have to drive it like a car for that

I'm sure the fat rear end hurts it. I really don't care, I didn't buy it to get great mileage.
