I have yet to replace the stock front pads. I still have 1/4'', or more, on the outside front right. When did you HD'ers change your brakes and did you go with GM Parts, aftermaket H.P. or cheapo's. I would like to go another 100K before my next brake job.

 

my old 1500HD i went to after market brakes i changed them at 120 km and i still had 50% left at over 300,000km when i traded it off

 

Currently 92k on original brakes, the pedal is getting softer, but they still stop fine, plenty of life left, I will probably replace this summer, I might go with a kit from ssbc, it is four slotted rotors and 4 sets of pads for like $600
