best tune? 2003 gmc 2500hd
I'm looking to get a tune for my 2003 gmc 2500hd with the 6.0. I'm just curious from your guys' experince who does the best one out there? I'm in North Dakota and im guessing theres no one are here that does it. So im guessing ill have to get mine sent in or buy a differ computer. I do quite a bit of pulling hauling cars, bobcat stuff like that and taking it to the mountains this year pulling a six place snowmobile trailer so i want it to have the power to pull it threw the mountains. A friend has a 1999 with a bullydog and it did nothing at all, huge waste 500 bucks. I've got hedman hedders and im ordering a k and n intake. I am thinking a Nelson tune... what do you guy think?

Black Bear, Nelson, Wheatley.. Roll the dice.. They are all very good reputable tuners here on the site.. I have found that Wheatley does tend to have faster responses then the others.. Not bashing, just being honest, as they are all top notch when it comes to the tuning end..

dad has the same truck with the same mods, except no headers. still gets **** gas mileage but it did improve about 10-15% and the power was VERY noticeable after the 93 octane tune. we used wheatley as he is just down the road from us
very happy with the results and my old man uses the truck FREQUENTLY to haul big loads of hay, ranch equipment, etc. and it has never skipped a beat. we told wheatley to make sure that the truck would still be ok under 12-14k pounds of load.
