Tire pressure depends on the tires you are running and hauling a load or unloaded.
The setting for tire type and air pressure can be changed on the new vehicles with a factory scan tool or equivalent.
I have done this in the past on the newer GM's after they get different tire and wheel combo's installed.

Do you idle the engine much? As in warming it up before driving off? A few folks still do that and it kills fuel mileage. Do you use Auto Start? Same thing. Also, in the winter quite a few folks leave their HVAC controls in Defrost mode and they don't realize the A/C compressor is coming on all the time even when it's cold out.

Baby it and drive it easy you don't have enough miles on it yet. You may have one of those really tight motors that if driven easily during it's break in will run great once it breaks in and get better mileage give it 3-4K miles Don't listen to anyone who tells you it's pre broke in they are full of ****. Drive it easy don't dog it for first 3-4K miles. If mileage is still that bad you can always take it in. But if check engine lights off most dealers will just tell you it's nature of the beast and deal with it.
