You play, you pay
after a while you get sick of paying....somethin bout a nice reliable tow rig sits nice with me.

of course just riding to and from the track tonite in my buddy's 07 crewcab F350 powersmoke that made it there on fumes and barely needed any pedal compared to my sub with about the same weight really made me want a diesel more. Of course he just put 22.5's on the stupid thing and it rides like **** with 60 pounds all around, and he can't seem to get them balanced right since all they seem to be able to do is throw some supersand in em and it should balance as it drives. At least my lil (well in comparison) 3/4 ton sub has him beat for ride quality with the trailer on it

and yes we were trailering a chevy to the track (albeit a carbed big block big tire camaro, since he hates anything EFI)...

Out of curiosity, what was voided (what broke) and did the dealer mechanics find the tune or did a GM service rep come out?

I work at Chase Chevrolet in Stockton, a fellow diesel tech had a two trucks that were looked into by service reps 1 had a superchips handheld and the trucks engine had a hole in piston #5 the customer came clean and told us he used starting fluid because it wouldn't start, I'm sure you know is not recommended, but the rep found the files in the vehicles pcm history of a programmer, well to top it off he had the box to the thing under the seat lol. The second truck was the same but they found the truck was currently running a tune and had damage to two cylinders, those were two expensive mistakes

kinda sounds as good as when I brought my Z in with time slips in the glove compartment years ago when it was still stock, but it wasn't for any driveline issues and the svc manager was an inlaw of mine
