I do have the 180 stat as well. Kerr, did you install one? I put in 1 from NAPA and had very inconsistent temps. Got a Duralast from Auto Zone and my temp is spot on every time. Fans on at 186 and off at 181 in perfect cycles, never a deviation in the stat opening temps.
