I have had several full size chevrolet trucks in my time. My current one is my sig and the best I can get is 13mpg, I average 12-12.5 mpg.

The last one was the wreck under my screen name, it was a 6.0l and 2wd. I got 15 around town and 17 on the hwy. I drove this truck across the country 2xs so I knew it purty good.

My 1st one was a 91 454ss 2wd and I never got over 13 with it but it was a hella lota fun. I am not too sure what the liters are for a 454 but I think its a 7.4 or something like that. Hope this helps a little.

depends on where you live and what you do, a tuck in arizona is going to get better mileage than truck in denver..

our
6.0 truck is around 13
6.2 denali 10
6.2 denali xl 9.5
8.1 burb 8-10 mpg

Just got 14 the this last tank, which was combined city/highway, with ac always on.
That is the best i've gotten to date, and it was BP gas, go figure. Don't hate, it was the closest and I was a fumes.
Maybe i should tell you what it is.

My 01 2500HD 8.1 reg cab 2wd got 15-16mpg. Might would have kept it if it had a 4L80 in it, but the allison sucked.
