Default 2006 1500HD Headers?

Is there any long tube headers for a 1500HD that don't cost $1000? I saw on another post where the pacesetter would fit on the '07 +, has anyone tried them on the '06? Thanks for the info.

So, does this mean no one has headers on a 1500HD?

God, I hope they do.

I bought that set (70-2265) as well.....bead blasted them, hi temp coated them, DEI wrapped and hi temp silicone sealed the wrap. Im gonna be pissed if I went through all that and they don't fit.

Im reading more and more it is hit or miss on the 03+ 4WD's

FYI the pacesetter 70-2265 will fit the 1500HD 4X4, all you have to do is weld a different O2 bung in on the passenger side it hits the truck.

I ran american racing headers but they didnt fit as well as i thought they would for the price. there jig was built off of an 05 Silverado SS so some of the hd trucks need to trim a lil nip off the tranni/tranni cover
