Hey guys im new to the forum and i got 2000 chevy 4wd 2500 6.0 and the 4l80 trans. I do quite a bit of pulling with it and love it lots of power but i really baby it to be honest i personally have never had it over 3500 rpms. But its got a k and n intake and its got trual dual catback exhaust straight off the magnaflow cats. 3in pipe then goes into 2.5 (really loud). But I just about bought an 2003 ss about 3 months ago but the insurance was crazy on it so i backed out on it. So ever since then I've always wanted to build a motor for my pickup. I looked around awhile for an lq9 but there hard to come by. So ive decided to build my own motor. I want something that will kick those stupid little ricers a$$. But still be able to pull like a mule. I buying a 6.0 for 200 bucks that runs that imma build so if i ever want to put the original motor back in i can. But ive never built a new motor like this and dont know whats out there when it comes to high performance parts. If it comes 60s and 70s pontiacs i got that covered just not this new stuff. I just wanted your guys' input on what i should do! I'll try to figure out how to attach pics
Thanks

put in a cam in your current motor . . . when you want more . . . add some heads or swap in some L92 heads and intake.
I pull, tow, and beat the **** out of mine . . . I've got a few vids up on mine.
