Default 2002 Duramax

My 2002 duramax dropped a rod @ 220 000KM. Can I put a 05 in it? What else might I need?

Thumbs up

as long as you use your turbo. 05 was the first year of the lly, which is just a lb7 (what u have) with a VVT. Or you could do this http://www.socaldiesel.com/SoCal%20D...oker%20Kit.htm

Thanks, found complete truck with 30000KM, for $6000 front Pass side smashed. If all I have to do is run my turbo thats will work. I though I would have to change out the harness and computer.

also need to run your heads. as the lly's use different injectors and your lb7 injectors wont fit in the lly heads etc.
