2001 2500 6.0 with flowmaster muffler ..... what would be the best programmer to compensate for the muffler and give more pulling power pulling a trailer?
I have an HP tuner, but don't know how to use it and can't find a tune in the repository.

A muffler swap won't require a tune just fyi

Zackly: the muffler isn't the factor here. The CRAPPY stock tune is. LQ4 is particularly notorious for a lazy (conservative) tune since SO MANY of those went to construction fleets and such as that when new. The factory set em up expecting zero maintenance, heavy abuse, complete laziness or even malice on the part of users, and major stupidity. Not for "performance" in any manner way shape form or fashion.
You'll benefit from a good tune for sure.
