Let me start from the beginning. I went and got fuel in my truck (on empty, put in 8 gal) Started to drive home and got about a mile from the station and the truck lost all power. Scanned the computer and came back with two 7th injector codes. I looked the codes up and it has something to do with the wiring harness for the injectors. There was also a thing called the ice pick mod, whatever that is. I played with the harness and the truck started to run fine. I drove it like that for the remainder of those 8 gallons.

Yesterday, I went to the Exxon station and put in 40 bucks, roughly a little more than 10 gallons. Got on the interstate and drove about 25 miles and the last 5 miles the motor started to clatter louder. I shut the truck down and left it. I got back in it 3 hours later and it drove fine for about 4 miles and started giving me problems again. I had to stop on the road twice and let the truck sit and then crank it back up. It would act fine for a minute then go back to acting shitty. I barely made it home last night. All the while it sounding louder and with no power. I changed the fuel filter and took a fuel sample and the fuel is nice and clean.

Could it be the lift pump not pumping enough fuel? Or maybe there is something in my tank. The fuel gauge starts acting funny also while this is going on. Need help guys, any help at all will be appreciated.
