Hey everybody,

I'm looking into buying a TBSS. Not sure if I'll go new, or look at some used, maybe slightly modified TBSS's. I get the GM employee discount, plus they have $2k off, and I'm going to see if I can haggle with the owner of the dealership that I know.

Right now I'm looking to unload my cavailer, great gas mileage for the TBSS. I'm probably having to move here in the next month or two. Having a larger vehicle would help traveling back and forth (8 hour drive). The nearest drag strip is ~an hour away, so I'll probably have to get a trailor and tow my car when I want to race (incase i break).

So I'm either going to get a truck or TBSS....figured the SS might be more handy? How are you guys on gas mileage. Does it require 92+?

Or I might just go cheap and boring and get the new Malibu

yeah I'm not sure how much driving I will be doing, since I don't know where I'll be living yet.

But it would be nice to have a vehicle that can tow, whether it be the TBSS or maybe a 1500-2500HD

My SSS gets abuot 16-19 mpg on the highway but in town is almost half that..BUT I have alot of engine mods and have to run 92..but regardless i would stick with 92 because you will paymore at the pump for 92 but you will get decreased mpg with 87 so it equals out in the end

They don't make the SSS anymore do they?

What was the last year for those? I think a pickup might be more useful for me. What was the HP ratings on those? stock?
