Default I'll be tuning for E85

I'll be doing e85 tunes at map in plymouth,mn april 19th if anyones interested. I've been picking 15 to 25 hp on a stock gto. on tbss's i've been getting 35-50 rwhp this is for stock or mildly modded cars and trucks. If you have a cam you'll need a fuel pump and bigger injectors ford cobras injectors work well. Any one interested send me a pm.

As for people worried about fuel mileage we haven't seen any loss and if anything most people have reported a gain. OH and E85 is a dollar cheaper a gallon than 92 oct. ASo in 10 fill ups you'll see a 180 dollar difference in your wallet plus the performance gain

I didn't think the TBSS was setup to use E85....or the GTO.

So how are you tuning for both? Once it's tuned for E85 can you still run gas, if you can't get E85?

I'm sure if you tuned it for the e85 then ran gas you would be way rich as it takes alot more e85 vs gas.

+1

That's why he said with bolt-ons you'll need bigger injectors. I've heard that E85 has an effective octane rating of 100. That's why you can tune more horsepower out of it. But it would make sense that you get worse gas mileage, and if you go back to unleaded you'll be running waaay rich. The biggest push behind E85, besides not using as much petroleum, was better emissions, not better gas mileage.
