I've been digging into my SLP 85mm MAF that's
on my Camaro trying to tweak it up, and have a
question for you truck dudes.
From what I've read, this SLP F-body MAF uses
a "truck MAF" core. They solder a resistor to
the MAF wire bridge to adjust the for F-bodies.
On the unit I have, after I pulled off the
SLP badge, underneath is the Delphi nameplate
and a bunch of grinder marks where the GM part
number used to be. I'm interested in figuring
this part number out. It's an 85mm, plastic-body
5-pin MAF.
The only marks left on the MAF are around the
outside of the housing. Raised lettering says:
> PBT - (GF + M) 30 <
Does this look like what's on your MAF, if so,
what vehicle and what GM / Delphi part number?
If you have something kinda-like, but different
lettering, that might be a clue too... ???
