Thinking mine is going out but not sure so I'm posting a thread just incase. It doesn't make any weird sounds or feel weird while driving straight but once I make a left/right turn I hear a clunking sound. I'm draining the fluid Friday and popping the diff cover off to better inspect.

Right now I have 3.42's but would like to get 3.73's and would ideally like the whole differential because I don't know how to set gears.

You'll need the gears installed professionally by someone regardless of whether or not they are already on the diff. Do you mean you're looking for a whole new rear end?
