Looking for silverado 2500 hd hood 00-02

Willing to go 150 miles from 40383 versailes, ky

Or if anybody knows where I can look I would aprechate it.

Sierras never came with the hd style hood. GMC guys take the silverado hd hood and cut it to fit the GMC

If anybody has any ideas where to find one. I would aprechate it.

Can I order a new one?
Do I need to check local junk yards?

i was looking at lmctruck mag and found 2500 hd hood 01-02
part# 39-9727-t for $400
pg 28
has anyone ever ordered from lmc?

yup it is not really bothered since im doing the 2011 hd hood on it . that's why it hasn't been painted .

I was under the impression that the hd hood bolted right up.
I'm having a friend who runs his own body shop do the work.
Along with paintable grille and front bumper once I get all the parts.

It'll bolt up on a chevy but will need to be cut if it's a sierra. Like I said above GMC didn't have an hd hood from 99-06. Your description says a sierra hd hood so it's kinda confusing
