I've always used those USA standard gears. No visual difference from the motives, I've looked at them side by side.

Good to know, Im kinda nervous about doing the front diff. AxisT6 did a nice write-up on GMFS on doing the swap but damn it looks entailed.

Good to know, Ive just always heard gear guys say certain gears are louder than others. Just figured the cheapo gears would be louder not that I guess it would really matter all that much since my mud grip tires whine pretty good.

Not to **** in the thread but yes diff brand gears, can def be louder. Every set of R gears I have heard have a whine to them.

Throw them on the lathe and cut .5" off each side and send em to me

Im picking up the motives off Area47 to try this winter so we'll see how those go. Itll be my first set of of gears Ive ever set up from scratch so it ought to be interesting
