I just moved here from texas but im just stationed at camp pendleton, and have texas plates but i wont pass a smog test, because of myexhaust, is there anywhere i can go to pass or a way to get around this, i really need help

I can see you have an ORY in your sig. You NEED cats to pass smog. Hopefully you hung on to your stock exhaust, because I don't think the Pacesetters carry an EO number either. You should be alright with the z06 cam though as its a factory cam that's pretty efficient when it comes to emissions.

 

No the military isnt exempt, which ******* sucks, i have and offroad y, and i put it on before i joined the military so i just got rid of them because i didnt know, but is there some way around this jw

 

One of my new guys just reported here this week. He was worried about that. He said, he just showed the guys a green smog test paper from Tx and they gave him the base stickers. You could also ask around for someone who will bend the rules for you.

 

If anything, just stick some cats on there and head to a ma-'n-pa smog place or busy gas station, they will not have time to check for numbers and if all the emissions hook up are there, it should pass.
