Sixth Annual Arroyo High School Classic & Custom Car Show
On Saturday, May 5, 2007, the Sixth Annual Arroyo High School Classic & Custom Car Show in Memory of Rick DeVecchi will be held to benefit high school sports. The event will be held at Arroyo High School, located at 15701 Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. All proceeds from the days’ event goes towards saving and supporting high school athletics.

This year’s event will feature hundreds of custom and classic cars and motorcycles from throughout the Bay Area. Street Rods, Custom Cars, Tricked Out Trucks, Muscle Cars, Vintage Cars, NASCAR Race Cars, and many more will be on display for your enjoyment. Adding to the days’ festivities, there will be a new car section where dozens of area dealers will display new car makes and models. Dealers from Hummer, Chevrolet, Ford, VW, Mini Cooper, BMW, Lexus, Jeep, Chrysler and more will attend.

There will be music, awards, raffle prizes, snacks, and vendors. Come out for a “fun filled family” event on Cinco de Mayo.

Also, KTVU Morning’s on 2 Anchor, Frank Somerville and Traffic Reporter Sal Castaneda will be this year’s emcees and will wrap up the day by announcing the trophy presentations.

This year also offers the opportunity to meet current Oakland Raiderette and Arroyo graduate Erica Jasso.

General admission is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children and seniors.
