Less than that, I'd say it's closer to 7 with stops.

Yeah, Tucson to LA takes about 8 with a big tank and a big bladder. Both of which I've got.

I bite, but not hard. A track day at Speedworld or Firebird would be worthwhile for me since our track here sucks donkey *****. Who wants to give me a 2hr tow home when I put this 4.8 out of it's misery.

I will!! I have experience doing that (right Chris? ) And I have a trailer hookup .

If we do it on a Sat, we could do a GTG of some sorts and SpeedWorld has Saturday Night street drags most every weekend.

Speedworld's calendar looks like this:

Jan 12 - Test and Tune during the day, Saturday Night Street Drags
Jan 19 - Saturday Night Street Drags
Jan 26 - Saturday Night Street Drags

Firebird doesn't have it's schedule for 2008 posted yet.

i'm game either way, my pass fender may not be fixed but still good to go plus I will be back from my visit back east beginning of Jan.

We made the drive from LA to the Phoenix area in a little over 6hrs with a few quick stops as well over summer
