We haven't since I joined the forum, but I'd be down to get something together. We were talking about going to Firebird one night, but onyx is having...tranny problems? desTRUCKtive blew his tranny awhile ago and is just now doing a motor swap, I just moved in and haven't been around the last few weekends, leaving again this weekend and gonna have the truck down to do cam and springs prolly next week. It's been tough....if the Tucson guys ever come up here we can party it up at my house after.

Place called American Transmission in old town Scottsdale. Kinda of a weird little shop, you wouldn't expect them to do good work just by looking at it, but the guy knows what he's doing. They do all the work for the Barret Jackson store down the street. I think mine was right around 2100 for parts and labor, including R&R. That was back before I really knew what was going on with any of this stuff, but if I remember right I had new servos, shift kit, new bands, new clutch packs (9 instead of the stock 6?), and maybe a new hardened gear or something too. I'll have to dig around for the receipt. They did really good work, and the guy is pretty cool too. PM me if you want any of their contact info.
