Default 4x4 Training

So Jen and I went to this 4x4 Training Clinic up at Gorman this past weekend. We had a few people tells us that they could have shown us the same thing for free, but I think it was worth it. Among the vehicles were some Jeeps, Land Rovers, a Hummer, and an F-350. The Hummer surprisingly did not do as well as I would have thought, the Rovers did good … there was a Jeep Rubicon that did the best for a Factory equipped vehicle. It had everything to go Off Road, including an air compressor! Our truck did exceptionally well, especially for being a long wheel base, the stepper bar did scrape on some parts and the trailer hitch got dug into the dirt. Most of the hills were at a 30 degree incline. If you are considering a course for 4x4, I would say this is it. The instructor is a certified (nationally and internationally) off-road instructor. http://www.4x4training.com
