My dad has had a smith&wesson 500 magnum bone collector for a year or so and I wanted to use it to shoot a deer this weekend. He surprised me with my own, unfortunately I didn't get a shot at a decent deer but it'll be awesome when I get the chance. With iron sites they're accurate to well over 200 yds.

It's a pretty sweet gun and actually doesn't have that bad of a recoil with the break and heavy weight.

Yeah, I don't think so
Nah, its heavy enough as it is and plenty accurate with iron sites. With 4000#s of muzzle energy shot placement isn't all that important
I'm building my dad a shop this fall and will be making a gun room where we can reload. Unfortunately these days I don't get much of a chaance to go shooting/hunting so what we've got will last til then.
