Yes they are fun, I used to have a few of them.. Your set up is like mini tator chunkin. Buddie of mine pulled a horrible fail, was using oxy acetylene with a drive shaft, it blew the *** up on him, he lost 60% vision in is left eye, had to get a good bit of stitches.. Not pretty..

That looks about the same as mine. Propane tank into a 2" ball valve to 6' of 2" PVC. Try a golf ball in a sabot. Those suckers get some distance.

I had one that we used hair spray or w-d 40 in with a lantern striker. all pvc, 4" chamber, with a 2" pipe. With the right load it would go 200 yards on a tator.

We had the exact setup and the threaded 4'' cap blew up on me, came out without an injury. Mama always said GOD looks out for idiots and drunks.

yeah we were lucky, but we were also kids. We figured out that you cant seat the tator all the way down the pipe, you need to have some room for it to expand and blow it out.

Mine is basically as described. 18" long 4" chamber, 40" of 2" barrel. Screws in the base of the barrel to prevent pushing it down too far. Mine ignites with a handheld hotshot, similar to a weak tazer. We use ether though...
